My art focuses on place and memory - diverse Australian landscapes and my personal reflections on the beauty of nature. My paintings are observations in the field and studio works that recreate the seasonal colours and capture the atmosphere of each location. In my process I fuse impressionist marks in more contemporary graphic compositions to feature natural elements or rythmic patterns that catch my eye.
Jacqui exhibits her art in Melbourne galleries and regional art shows.
Her exhibitions are a sequence of representations of many unique regions: Landshapes - Terranium - Inland - Forest Bathing - Vitamin Sea - Intertidal
- from the arid Flinders Ranges to the forested Dandenongs to the rolling hills of South Gippsland and the windswept Victorian coastlines.
Jacqui was part of the Dandenong Ranges Open Studios over the last two decades before relocating to the Bass Coast in 2025.
I love to keep in touch with collectors of fine art, so feel free to reach out for a private viewing of my art painting landscapes and to visit my studio.
