About THE ARTIST
My art focuses on place and memory - landscapes of diverse Australian ecologies and my personal reflections on the beauty of nature. Painting observations in the field allows me to recreate seasonal colours and capture the atmosphere. I fuse impressionism with graphic interplays of shape and patterns and I love finding unusual forms or angular viewpoints.
Jacqui exhibits her art in Melbourne galleries and regional art shows.
Her shows Terranium - Inland - Forest Bathing - Vitamin Sea - Intertidal
are a sequence of representations of unique regional places - from arid Flinders Ranges vistas to deep forest of the Dandenongs and rolling hills of Gippsland and the southern coastline.
Jacqui was part of the Dandenong Ranges Open Studios over the last two decades before relocating to the Bass Coast in 2025.
