About THE ARTIST
My art focuses on place and memory - landscapes of diverse Australian ecologies and my personal reflections on the beauty of nature. Painting observations in the field allows me to capture seasonal colours and study the atmosphere. I fuse impressionism with graphic interplays of shape and patterns. With my background in design I love contrasting shapes and form or composing unpredicatable viewpoints.

Her shows Terranium - Inland - Forest Bathing - Vitamin Sea - Intertidal
are a sequence of representations of unique regional places - from arid Flinders Ranges vistas to deep forest of the Dandenongs and rolling hills of Gippsland and the southern coastline.
Jacqui was part of the Dandenong Ranges Open Studios over the last two decades before relocating to the Bass Coast in 2025.
